About J. Clinton Walker MD

Dr. Walker became a part of Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic in August of 2008. He has always been interested in orthopedics, upper extremity problems in particular. Dr. Walker finds something satisfying about the approach of taking patients who are active, have an injury and can’t do their activities, and then helping get them back to normal.

Dr. Walker has a special interest in upper extremity conditions. Before joining Kansas City Bone and Joint Clinic, he completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis and has stayed an active member in American Association for Hand Surgery (ASSH) as well as the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). Dr. Walker is board- certified in orthopedic surgery with additional specialty certification for hand surgery.

He completed his undergraduate degree at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kan., and his medical degree and residency program at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Walker says, “One of the most enjoyable things about my practice is seeing someone happy with their results and being able to resume their life activities. To see somebody smile and go back to everything that they want to do is kind of the ultimate satisfaction.”

In his spare time, he enjoys baseball, gardening and the outdoors.
