Signature Orthopedics of St. Louis, a division of Signature Medical Group, is pleased to announce the addition of William Behrens, Jr., MD.
Dr. Behrens is an orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained physician specializing in joint replacement and adult reconstruction procedures. He received his medical degree at the University of Kentucky before moving on to his residency at Saint Louis University. He completed his fellowship training in adult reconstruction at Ortho San Antonio.
"While taking a course in biomechanics, I fostered an interest in the musculoskeletal system," Dr. Behrens says. "I was amazed at the incredible complexity of muscles, tendons, and bones. This fascination with the functionality of the human body drove me to learn more about the field of orthopedics and pursue it as a career."
Dr. Behrens is accepting new patients at our South County location. As a St. Louis native, he's is excited to return to his hometown to provide patients exceptional orthopedic care. +
