About
Kristen started her career in medicine after joining the U.S. Army, where she was trained as an operating room technician. While working as an OR tech, she continued her education at University of Missouri – St. Louis where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
After graduating, she worked as a surgical nurse for several years until she became a nurse for an orthopedic surgeon in private practice. Her duties included helping in the clinic with patients, first-assisting in surgery, and serving as director of an in-office surgical suite.
Kristen continued to pursue her education and received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Saint Louis University, specializing in Family Practice in 2015. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C).
In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys going to see live music and traveling with her family, particularly skiing in Colorado.
