Jeanne Cantalin joined Signature Medical Group in 2015 as Chief Compliance Officer and currently serves as Assistant General Counsel, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer. She is responsible for the direct management and day to day activities advancing all components of the Compliance Program. This includes serving as Compliance and Privacy Officer and regulatory and operations counsel with a focus on maintaining and enhancing compliance with federal and state laws and regulations impacting the organization.
Jeanne has over thirty years legal experience as a health care attorney in various roles including representation of hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, physician organizations, and health plans in a regional law firm’s health care practice group, defending providers in medical liability litigation, and serving as in-house general/operations and regulatory compliance counsel. She has also directed hospital and physician practice risk/patient safety programs and managed insurance and claims in an academic medical center and in a multi-state health system.
Jeanne has a law degree and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Saint Louis University. Prior to practicing law, her registered nurse positions were in hospital critical care and acute hemodialysis. +
