Colon Cancer Found During Colonoscopy: Man Undergoes Surgery to Beat the Disease

“When someone walks in and tells you that you have cancer it’s like taking a light switch and just flipping the switch down. Everything just all of a sudden turned black,” Samm Tague explained.

Age at 52, Samm was diagnosed with colon cancer.  The disease was found through a colonoscopy.  He underwent laparoscopic low anterior resection surgery performed by Dr. Ralph Silverman of ColoRectal Specialists, a division of Signature Medical Group.
