About Kristi Mall RN, BC-ANP
Kristi received her diploma in Nursing at St. Luke’s School of Nursing in 1992. She began working as a Registered Nurse at Independence Regional on a surgical/orthopedic unit, while completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Webster University in 1996.
After completion of her BSN, she began working at Independence Regional, primarily in the Intensive Care Unit. She acted as charge nurse and cared for open heart patients. She obtained her Master’s in Nursing (MSN) and Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in 2001 from The University of Missouri-Kansas City.
After 12 years of hospital nursing she moved into the field of Cardiology and then spent five years at Lakewood Internal Medicine. She began working at Kansas City Internal Medicine in 2007. She is board certified as an Adult Nurse practitioner through the ANCC.
She currently manages acute and chronic conditions, as well as educating patients regarding preventative care. Her interests are in the areas of diabetes and heart disease, especially that of women. She serves as co-chair for KCIM in The Go Red for Women and Heart Disease Campaign.
Ms. Mall is from the Kansas City area and is married with two children. In her spare time she enjoys working out several days a week, attending her children’s various sporting events, spending time with her family and friends and volunteering twice a month at her children’s school.
