Five St. Louis orthopedic practices within Signature Medical Group are coming together as a single, recognizable brand with a new name – Signature Orthopedics.
The practices – formerly known as Jefferson County Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Mid County Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine, Premier Care Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, St. Charles Orthopaedic Surgery Associates, and Tesson Ferry Spine & Orthopedic Center – will now be unified as one Signature Orthopedics.
“Our practices have been providing excellent care to patients of St. Louis for decades,” said Andrew Schwartzkopf, General Counsel and CAO of Signature Medical Group. “We have more than 40 orthopedists, 12 orthopedic subspecialties and more than 13 metropolitan locations across the city. It’s the familiarity of the neighborhood expert physicians that keeps our patients coming back.”
The physicians of the orthopedic group provide highly specialized, conservative treatment approaches for everything ranging from the repair of sprains, breaks and sports injuries to joint replacement/reconstruction and advanced arthroscopy.
“Our patients value the personalized care that they receive when interacting with our orthopedic groups,” said Chad Sackman, COO of Signature Medical Group. “We may be changing our name, but the superior physicians and staff, locations, and excellent care we provide will be the same it has since the beginning.”
The name change will take effect August 1, 2018. To introduce the new brand to existing and prospective patients, Signature Orthopedics is launching its “St. Louis Heroes” campaign, which will showcase some of St. Louis’ top talents and personalities who are also patients of the orthopedic group. The campaign will roll out through various media in St. Louis, aiming to unify the brand and to integrate operations while focusing on the group’s commitment to provide the best care possible.
“We remain focused on individualized patient care,” Sackman added. “Signature doctors offer non-invasive solutions and new, alternative options in addition to traditional treatments. The physicians don’t just “fix” bones and joints, they develop relationships with their patients.” +
