Hello, I’m Dr. David Schuval, a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon with ColoRectal Specialists and Signature Medical Group. I enjoy being a colorectal surgeon because I’m able to treat patients of all ages - from 18 to over 100 - with problems as simple as hemorrhoids and complex as colon and rectal cancer.

Most patients with hemorrhoids can be treated in the office with minimally invasive techniques that allow them to return to work the same day. As with hemorrhoids, I treat more complex problems with minimally invasive techniques in the hospital that allow patients to have shorter length of stays and return to work as quick as possible. My exam room is filled with my own personal landscape and wildlife photography. This allows the patients to relax and enjoy the scenery while they’re in the room.

I’m currently serving as chief of surgery for my fifth year at St. Anthony’s Medical Center. I’ve used my position to help optimize my patients’ care while they’re in the hospital. My office is located on Tesson Ferry just one block south of I-270 in south county.
