Hi, I'm Tom Kelley. I'm a family physician at Barry Pointe Family Care. We take care of everything basically from newborns to - I think my oldest patient is about 104 now - and everywhere in between.

What's awesome about what I do is I take care of many families and not just moms and dads and kids, but aunts and uncles and grandparents. So there's an entire spectrum of families that we manage here.

The thing I like the best about what I do is getting to know my patients. My patients are just fantastic people. They're the kind of people that you can talk to and relate with and interact with and sometimes even joke with; sometimes cry with. And that's probably the best part of my job is just getting to know people.

It's not just a simple, "Good to know you, here's your problem, get out of here." It's: "Good to know you, what's really going on? How can we fix this whole thing?" And then: "Let's work on this together." And together as a team we can put together a real good plan for them from a healthcare standpoint that will really allow them to not only be successful for the short-term, but have a long, healthy life long-term.

"I have been a patient of Dr. Kelley's for more than 20 years. The staff is professional and I have received great care for my family and for myself. Dr. Kelley and his staff are very up-to-date and knowledgeable in today’s health care practices."
