Hi, I’m Dr. Lizette Alvarez. I am a board-certified physiatrist or physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. I completed my residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville where I also did a fellowship in electrodiagnostic medicine.

I specialize in the treatment of spasticity with the use of intrathecal baclofen and botulinum toxins. I treat patients for cervical dystonia and migraines with botulinum toxins. In addition, I see patients that need rehabilitation for other types of diagnosis such as multiple sclerosis, strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and amputations.

My practice encompasses inpatients as well as outpatient rehabilitation. My office is at Missouri Baptist Medical Center where I also see inpatients in the rehabilitation unit. My goal in the treatment of patients with rehabilitation needs is to improve their functional abilities in order for them to have a better quality of life.

If I can be of any help, please call 314-942-2213.
