About David Wilt M.D.
Dr. Wilt received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kan., in 1975. (Go Fighting Gorillas!) He graduated from the University of Kansas Medical School in 1983. He did his internship at the University of Kansas School of Medicine from 1983-1984.
His completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Veterans’ Administration Hospital in Kansas City, St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kan., and Stormont-Vail in Topeka, Kan.
He has been board-certified in internal medicine since 1987.
Dr. Wilt belongs to the following organizations: American Medical Association, Missouri Medical Society, American Society of Internal Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
Most recently, Dr. Wilt was awarded the top doc award listed by U.S. News and World Report in 2011, 2012, and 2013 and listed by Ingram’s Magazine in Kansas City as a Top Internist.
Dr. Wilt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys big game hunting, managing wetlands for migratory birds, spending time on his farm and fishing.
