Signature Health Services, Inc., Announces the Addition of Three OB-GYN Practices
(St. Louis, January 20, 2005) – Signature Health Services, Inc., one of the largest physician owned medical practices in the St. Louis area, has announced the addition of three OB-GYN practices. Effective January 1, the 13-physician addition brings to 58 the total physician ownership in Signature. This addition will make Signature, which has been primarily an orthopedic practice, a true multi-specialty practice. The OB-GYN physicians cite the operating model of physician leadership as a key factor in their decision to join Signature. Signature’s economy of scale and efficient practice management has consistently demonstrated the ability to provide more cost-effective care.
